    A hidden gem.
    We had a fantastic 2 night break, lovely staff who couldn't do enough for you, Clean comfortable room, and the food in the restaurant was fantastic and reasonably priced..
    Small car park, get there early.

    Nothing but they have bands on some nights and so it might be noisy those nights. The pub is really good and the food looks excellent

    Great atmosphere, beer and food.
    Loved the atmosphere, beer, food in the restaurant. Staff very welcoming. The breakfast was cooked to order and sourdough bread very good. The monkey theme was very well done. Did I mention the beer? :-)
    Pork crackling nibbles not the best. The road was quite noisy so had to keep the window closed. Mind your head when walking up stairs to the room.

    Spotless rooms and fabulous food. Staff were great and nothing too much trouble. Great shower and excellent breakfast. Overall a great stay.
    Room 2 quite small but huge bathroom. Parking can be an issue as small car park which can get very busy. Its on a main road which can be noisy although earplugs are provided in room.

    We had a lovely overnight stay at the Monkey Brewhouse. The team were really lovely and great to sort a table for us to eat and enjoy the evening with drinks. We didn't know when booking but there was an open mic night on later in the evening which was led by Phil and Oli (apologies if I have their names wrong!!) who were brilliant. The food was really delicious! We really enjoyed our dinner and breakfast. Our room was spotless and comfy and the ensuite bathroom was superb. Lovely thoughtful touches. The room was by the main road but that did not bother us or stop us having a good nights sleep. Would recommend and will be looking to book again in future!
