    Good value and well located
    Car park entrance tight but they do advise you in advance. Bed linen needs upgrading quilt was thin. rather cold heating was low but was turned up on request

    Lovely short break
    Was first time of travelling with electric wheelchair, Simon moved some furniture out of the room so that wheelchair could fit into the room. Facilities very clean and loved the eco message about the towels. Lots of choice for breakfast and bonus with CeeCee!

    Would recommend the hotel
    Simon was an excellent host with nothing too much trouble. The breakfasts were excellent with fruit, yoghurt, fruit drinks and a superb cooked breakfast. Our room was great with a massive wardrobe and hangers. It was only a very short wall to the sea and the promenade. Would thoroughly recommend.

    Great hospitality as my wife had taken ill on the 2nd day ,she did not see much of the hotel, myself personally can't thank Simon and Ann for their lovely breakfasts and care they had for my wife ,what with the weather putting a damper on a few things ,only problem was a narrow space to get to the car park

    Great little place.
    Hotel was very clean, fantastic choices at breakfast. Simon was very welcoming and helpful and the little friendly dog made hotel very homely, will definitely be back.

    Fabulous guest house near beach
    Lovely guest house. Comfortable, clean, great location near beach. Excellent food (we recommend the evening meal, real home cooked food.). Simon & Ann were amazing hosts.

    Always enjoy our stay at Oakover guest house
    This was our second stay at this property and find Simon very welcoming. Always comfortable and accommodate very well for my dietary needs as a coeliac.
    Nothing to not like about this property.

    A bit of a squeeze driving down the side of the building to park. Just put the mirrors in!
