The property could definitely do with a bit of TLC. E.g. a part of the stair carpet has exposed the pins and I stepped on that more that once, and the cooker hood/extractor is broken. The bed on the first floor also offered one of the worst night's sleep I've had, so uncomfortable could not have done more than 3 nights. The kitchen provisions are a bit lacking - e.g. no oven gloves/only one tea towel when you need to wash up by hand, but a giant pestle and mortar. And I absolutely hated that there was zero information/guidance/area/bins for recycling, in 2023 that's not acceptable (the welcome pack even has a subheader 'bins and recycling' and then only provides info on waste)! The living room was great for us (4 adults 2 kids) but there are only 2 two-seater sofas so worth bearing in mind for 6 adults as I imagine you'd have to bring up dining chairs from the ground floor or sit on the small beanbags. Couldn't get stairgates to work properly, we gave up and propped them up instead. Finally, while I'd say the property was surface level clean (bedding, kitchen, bathroom), it wasn't clean-clean. There was a lot of dust, allergies definitely set off more than once. It could probably benefit from a twice a year deep clean given how popular I think the property probably is.
