The rooms were lovely and spacious, and breakfast was quite delicious. Staff were friendly and did their best to help any requests I had.
A bar of soap in the bathroom would've been appreciated.

The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The only nit pick really was the pillows were so thin, and because they were feather there was no support so I found my neck a bit sore because of that but that is just a preference on my part.

Relaxing, cosy hotel with excellent service.
Was there to celebrate my partners birthday with an overnight stay and dinner. From the minute we walked in all the staff went out of their way to make it special. It appeared that everyone from the receptionists to the waiters were all informed of the birthday and all took time to wish her a happy birthday! Also cakes and 1/2 bottle of champagne were provided gratis and waiting in the room when we arrived .what a wonderful touch! Dinner and breakfast were both delicious with excellent service. Will definitely be back

Excellent value, good food, well located and with great staff I would highly recommend the OPH.
A beautiful building. The level of service was excellent from reception, to the bar staff and on to the restaurant and housekeeping staff. Everyone was attentive, courteous and kind. The food was of a very good standard both at breakfast and dinner and the library was a lovely additional feature. Highly recommended.
