The Onomo Hotel in Dar es Salaam is a quiet and decent hotel with a fantastic buffet breakfast. Some guests found the beds to be a little hard, but overall the rooms are spacious, modern, and clean. (Read More)The hotel staff is friendly and the location is great, close to downtown attractions. The breakfast selection is huge and the cumin potatoes are particularly loved. The hotel is also suitable for meetings and gatherings, with ample parking available. The hotel is centrally located with easy access to nearby activities.

Great

The hotel's central location made it convenient for me to explore both inland Tanzania and the mainland. Additionally, the well-maintained and clean rooms offered excellent value for money.

The breakfast menu was somewhat limited; I had anticipated a more extensive selection of Swahili breakfast options, given that it is a Swahili nation.

Disappointing

Terrible expenses caused.

Hotel transfer at it's poorest. We literally walked from a nearby venue where we had come for work, the driver never showed up, the hotel failed to communicate, we felt dumped by our very reliable host. The driver to the hotel was unsure on his routes, we got at their airport late, the car went off at the middle of the entry to parking. I MISSED MY EXPENSIVE FLIGHT.

Disappointing

I would not recomend it.

The location. It was close to where I needed to be for most of my stay.

The Rooms have this suffocated feeling. I understand the humid weather in the city might have an impact but they could be cleaned and ventilated better. Breakfast is ok but not the best.

Great Business Hotel

My room was lovely .. with a great ocean view and quick acces to the roof top bar. The management team is great. Easy access to Julius Nyerere International Conference Centre

Breakfast being removed at 1030 .. buy my fault that I was late.

Unrealized potential.

Cleanliness: 8/10 Staff friendliness: 8/10 Convenient proximity to all amenities.

It was impossible to close the windows; the mechanisms were rusty. Adjusting the air conditioning was also impossible. Some maintenance is needed.
