    Perfection!
    Property was spacious, had everything you might need and exceeded expectations (which were already high). Lovely location for walks around Lumsdale and into Matlock via footpaths The Tavern at Tansley was nearby, staff were wonderful providing water bowl, dog blankets and treats along with a tasty Sunday lunch Perfect for our first family get together including granddaughter and her doggy big brother! Snow made it even more magical! Thank you Sue for a very special stay

    Perfect family home away from home
    Just as advertised, spacious, very well appointed, lots of crockery, glasses etc. great location - very quiet. Host very prompt and helpful answering questions.
    Thought it was all great. Hard to find as sign at bottom of track not visible, especially in dark.

    Lovely cottage
    Lovely house, very spacious, tastefully decorated and comfortable for our family of 5. Great to have enough bathrooms and comfortable sitting options and the well equipped spacious kitchen was lovely. Excellent location too.
    Hard to find unmarked turning from fast main road. A sign at the end of the drive would be great. But we got used to it and it didn't affect our enjoyment of a lovely cottage.

    A lovely family break in a great house and a great location. Will definitely stay again.
    Very spacious and clean. Great location. The owner left milk, tea/coffee and cake for us, which was a nice touch. There were also board games and chess and good WiFi.

    Great house, lovely dining room table.
    Great location, good parking for Four cars. Pub within walking distance.
    No washing up liquid supplied and two tiny tea towels provided. Not enough for the amount of people so we bought more the following day.

    A peaceful location ideal for a group of friends who just wanted to spend some quality time together
    Loads of space indoors and a lovely shady garden to sit and relax in with very little noise
    Larger fridge would have been better and there was no mirror in one of the bedrooms
