    Give this a + when selecting a short stay in Oxford, especially when arriving by coach, a
    Receptionso important..rooms were so good for short stay family reunion & our transport on to other family locations. Transport links vital.and here public transport is fantasticsecond to none..bus stop nearby and so easy to get to wherever in Oxford or in easy reach. Our son enjoyed the breakfast, I benefitted from the flexible service which enabled me to have a seriously drinkable complimentary coffee. Overall, this oasis needs maximum plaudits for service with a smile, and such Relapsing accommodation for the incoming traveller from abroad.
    Toilet accessories , the toilet roll holder needs to be changed. It doesnt work. Think simple. It works best. Check out the sound on the to.. why is background music, . Suddenly foreground music ?

    The location was very convenient to live in.The bathroom was big enough and comfortable to use.
    The reception staff was rude and unhelpful. I had lots of luggage to carry to my room, she just stood there staring without even offering any kind of help, at least open the doors for me.The room was too small to be comfortable in.

    Lovely guest house, a little gem
    Great hosts, very helpful, plentiful breakfast with lots of choice , well situated for buses to many places , nice selection of shops, coffee shops, eateries, pubs/restaurants within a few minutes walk and a park nearby. The guest house is also within walking distance approx 15mins to the JR Hospital which is great as the parking at the hospital is a nightmare! There's also a bus stop right near to the guest house where you can catch a bus to the hospital for a reasonable charge or a taxi will still be cheaper than the parking charge if you could actually find a space to park)! My room was quite compact with single bed, wardrobe , desk, small bedside table, a large window, a nice sized shower room/toilet. There was a fan in the room, a TV, kettle and hospitality tray, a hairdryer, plus charging equipment for most mobile phones just incase you've forgotten your charger, which I thought was a great help. Shower gel, shampoo and hand soap are provided. There is underfloor heating in this room which kept it to a nice temperature. The towels are air dried, (so not soft & fluffy) but good for the environment, and surprisingly I quite enjoyed the change. I'd happily recommend this guest house to everyone

    Comfortable room with friendly staff
    The staff were all really friendly and were keen to make my stay as good as possible. The bed was very comfortable, and the usb charger (with several different ends) was very handy next to the bed. The Oxford Guest House is close to Oxford Brookes University, and right on the bus routes for the Oxford Tube and for buses from the railway station.
    My room was next to the public areas, so I could hear people coming and going, but I still had a good night's sleep.

    Property asked me to pay before coming which was not the agreement online to pay in person. They waited last minute to provide checkin instructions forcing me to take another hotel while they also didnt have an option to cancel given their new un-agreed instructions

    Booked for my family, I didn't stay there. There were no negative comments from them. The staff was nice and helpful, the bed comfortable and the room quiet enough to get a good night sleep.
