Prepare to be bombarded by messages, emails and calls

It was cheap. Period.

While the hotel wasn't so bad and the staff was polite, I'll probably never going to stay in an OYO Hotel again due to their obnoxious approach to marketing. I received numerous emails, messages ok Booking.com, even WhatsApp messages and just today I got an actual call from their team. Terrible experience.

Nothing I can recommend.

October 2023 Hotel staff were generally friendly and helpful. However the hotel needs rather serious improvements. 1. First room had bedbugs. Happens I suppose to the best hotels and to be fair they moved me to another room, far away that appears to have been clear. However they did nothing for me for what will now cost me time and energy (electricity) to wash & dry all clothes as hot as possible and sanitise bags etc. So not happy with customer service. 2. Hotel is shabby and needs serious updating to justify its very high price. An indication of the last time the hotel was updated is the fact that there are no bedside power points which mean that those of us who use phones as alarms have to get out to the table (there are enough there). This perhaps gives an indication of the last time the place was refurbed late 1990s early 2000s. Rendering coming off the hotel outside near the entrance gives an indication of this. See photo, lower left. 3. Rooms were not very clean. Bathrooms a bit grubby. 4. Breakfast reminds me of state owned hotels in former soviet republics. Very bleak. Tip: Avoid the hotel until they refurb it or drop prices by at least half to the 50-60/ night range or below.

Great accommodation for what we paid & very friendly staff!

Staff very welcoming and easy check-in process. Short walk from station. Room was basic, but had everything you needed. Bed comfy. Heater in room & fan, so was easy to adjust to desired temperature. Shower was hot and powerful enough. LOVED the fact they offered extended check-out for only 10 an Hr.

No shower gel, was only shampoo :( Bring your own hair dryer if you have long hair, otherwise it will take you years to dry it haha.

Superb

Lovely cheap place to stay, comfy beds and caring staff.

Clean, friendly staff, good quality large beds, good breakfast, great price. Located in town, so its very convenient to visit many local places. You can find parking too, which can be an issue at other places in Sheffield.

The staff are very really friendly, but the reception entrance is not very welcoming, could do with some flowers and something to brighten it up. Loud door banging all through the night, we asked the manager about this, and there had been a incident, we said we always found this an issue when we stayed He said he is addressing this by putting door softeners in, we really like this hotel, and that is the only issue we have.
