Palazzo Avino is a luxurious family-run hotel in Ravello with stunning views of the Amalfi Coast. The staff are friendly and go above and beyond to ensure a wonderful stay. The cocktails and food are (Read More) excellent, although the prices can be high. The rooms are comfortable and quiet, and the rooftop hot tub and beach "club house" are enjoyable. However, the hotel is located on a steep hill, which may not be suitable for elderly or unfit guests. Overall, a fabulous experience with breathtaking views.

Beautiful luxurious property with a few drawbacks
The property is in a beautiful iconic location. We opted for a sea view, which would have been stunning had the weather been a little better. The grounds are beautifully kept, and overall, the property has a very luxurious feel. The presentation of the soap, shampoo, slippers, towels, luxury linens and bottle of Prosecco contributed to the luxurious feel of this property. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and accommodating.
The room and bathroom were much smaller than the Sorrento 5 star hotel we had stayed in. The bathroom was too small for two people, and the shower was uncomfortably tiny. Our Terrace dinner was not very good and thus our meal felt over priced. As an American, the absence of coffee in our room was frustrating (but in fairness to this hotel, that was typical of our stays in Italy.) Due to the age and history of Ravello, there were lots of steps from the hotel to the village below, which we powered through, but the terrain could have been difficult for many people, especially seniors. Wish I had been able to contact the hotel directly with questions rather than working through Booking.com. Use [email protected].

This hotel is incredible. Every detail as you walk around is so beautiful and well thought out. I loved how easy it was to get a chair by the pool and it was never crowded. My only regret is that I wish I had more time here because of how amazing everything was. It was so relaxing and the views are truly unbeatable

The main attraction of this hotel is the private beach club with free transportation to and from. Without this aspect, IMO, staying here wouldnt be worth the price. The beach club definitely made all the difference and I would stay here again if I were in Ravello.

Breathtaking Views and Accommodations
EVERYTHING about this hotel was spectacular--the room, the view, the grounds, the service, the pool and the breakfast! It's on the pricey side but worth it (and you can save money on food by eating off-site for lunch and dinner).
