Too expensive for what this is. Would not go again.

Good location. Nice neighbourhood. Proximity to the beach is cool. Some of the staff is very friendly - others not so much.

Expensive (about 387 AUD/night) for mediocre quality Room small and dusty (picture). On the one hand you can hear the people in the corridor very well and every time someone opens their room you can hear the beeps of the code entry to open the door. The small windows overlooking the parking lot and gas station are leaky, so you can hear the loud air conditioners humming. The internet is limited, if you want more you have to pay. Check out is already at 10, otherwise you have to pay. The rooms are not serviced, you have to pay extra for that. I had booked via booking.com. Before my stay, I was asked to create a login directly at Perouse and pay the full amount, otherwise my booking would be canceled (two weeks before the official cancellation date). This procedure was only for my security they said. However, I have been booking with booking.com for years and everything always works perfectly and safely.

our room faced the Main Street, it was very hard to sleep, because Im a light sleeper so would probably ask for a room around the back next time

Great location, comfortable bed.

Lower ground room had outdoor table directly outside, so noisy when used late at night. Table was also by bathroom window which had frosted glass and no blind.
