    Excellent stay- lovely staff and nice rooms.
    The staff were very friendly and nice and we received a complimentary upgrade. I loved the free tea, coffee and hot chocolate service. The rooms were very clean and had nice decor. The rooms were cleaned daily. It was in a good location to be a tourist- close to the train station and the Capitol.
    Sometimes the windows were hard to close- and the cold air would get in.

    Had to change room because first one had such a noisy air conditioning that it was impossible to sleep.

    Nice place to stay.
    The property was beautiful. It was charming and very clean. The location was great. It was right beside Union Station, so it was easy to get to the metro and Amtrak. There was a restaurant inside the Hotel which had a good breakfast (we didnt have lunch or dinner there) The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were nice. The staff were extremely friendly and were there to answer any questions we had.
    The view from our room was looking directly into a brick wall and offices. If I knew I would have asked for a room with a better view. The rooms were small, but worked. The shower was very nice, but my husband and myself almost slid up in them because the floors are so slick.

    Very central location close to Union Station, good sized room, nice staff. Coffee station on the second floor is a lifesaver after an intercontinental flight. They were happy to store our belongings while we visited the White House after we checked out.
    Since the hotel is in a busy area, noise of traffic can be bothersome. Walls between the rooms are thin, which makes tolerating children running and shouting in the next room in the middle of the night challenging.

    Sons birthday trip
    Location! Right near everything, Union Station, museums, monuments and restaurants. The staff were exceptionally kind and polite. Felt like family at the front desk on every shift. The staff even made my son a towel cake for his birthday gave him a chocolate bar, some sparkling cider and a card. So sweet!!
    The walls are very thin but nothing inappropriate heard just conversation.
