    Pierneef's Kraal is a hidden gem with exceptional food and service. The setting in the luscious garden is beautiful and peaceful. The hosts, Anette and Peter, are welcoming and knowledgeable about th (Read More)e historical background. The rooms are tasteful and comfortable. The picknick event in the garden is romantic and the food and wine are excellent. Visitors enjoyed a relaxed and lovely lunch setting. The venue has lush gardens and allows one to escape the city buzz. The breakfast was outstanding with faultless service. Highly recommended.

    Restful quiet home away from home.
    Breakfast was really good and healthy. The hosts are wonderful very kind and attentive and gracious. They made sure you felt at home.
    The rooms are like huts with traditional hut roofs. It was really charming but needs vigilant attention as spiders and tiny insects are attracted to such set up.

    Beautiful gardens, large and comfy rooms, very kind and friendly staff
    Breakfast, although not included, was delicious and great value.
    Not having a bar or restaurant facility for dinner is a shame as sometimes you don't want to go out. We understood its only a few rooms so maybe not economical but maybe they could sort out something with a local restaurant

    Beautiful located rooms in a small park setting
    Great place to stay in nice rooms in a kind of park setting. Spacious, clean and very comfortable. Great restaurant on the premises where you can get breakfast and lunch in a very nice garden setting.
    I did not have enough time to also enjoy a lunch there and if you are tall, the beds arent very long. But let that not stop you of staying there.

    They made so much effort with setting up an additional family bed for us in the spacious room, it was very comfortable. There is a big garden for the kids to play in, and the food at the restaurant was really good.

    The restaurant is closed Monday through Wednesday. It would be nice if there was a light breakfast options for guests those days, like yogurt and granola, fruit etc..
