The size was good, very comfy bed, clean and warm.

The staff forgot to turn on heating and hot water for our room, until we asked about it. The Hair-dryer did not work

Relaxing Christmas stay with everything needed.

Room was warm & cozy with views both ways (although the Christmas weather was terrible!) Food as always was cooked to a high standard.

Comfortable pleasant stay

Great sea view. Even from ground floor. Warm and comfortable room. Lovey dining room. Nice staff. We stayed here as were visiting Heligan Night Garden, and made it into a weekend away. Great location for this, and other local attractions. Being on the private sea road, there was minimal evening traffic, and close to the coast path

Small Full English breakfast. Needed a hash brown, or more mushrooms/tomato to bulk it out a bit. Bacon too crispy. Room a little tired and needs a lick of paint.

Superb

A must for anyone looking for a really English experience

A lovely, spacious room, with views of the sea through the trees, and a very comfortable bed. The staff were fantastic, especially the chef (Lee) who went out of his way to accomodate our vegetarian diet. The vegetarian pumpkin Wellington should be on the regular menu. A full English breakfast (vegetarian) was enjoyed overlooking the bay, green fields and picturesque cottages.

The only way our stay could have been improved is if the sun had shone a bit more.
