I just think the photos online don't show how dated the building and the facilities are and it still charges quite a high price which I thought - once I arrived and saw the standard - a bit disappointing.

Nothing really. Possibly brighter lighting in the bathroom and over the bedroom mirror, and power sockets by the bed, but nothing major.

Grand old hotel with all the comforts of home.
The hotel was beautiful. Our room was incredibly spacious and comfortable. Having two comfy chairs to sit in near the window was a treat! Property was close to everything and views were beautiful. Buffet breakfast was delicious and well worth the additional cost.
The heating wasnt great but it was toasty in bed.

Comfortable and welcoming hotel
Very friendly service. Excellent breakfast. Room was a good size and very clean. The pool and changing rooms were well maintained.
The hotel is an old building with lots of stairs/steps everywhere. Whilst clean everywhere it all looks rather dated. Pool is quite small and is therefore rather crowded.
