Really peaceful beachfront location. The detached traditional wooden villa with balcony is absolutely lovely.

A restaurant (Warung Jalak Lenteng) available within walking distance which serves delicious food (closed on Fridays). Hot and cold water dispenser provided for guests (there's a kettle inside the unit too). No deposit required for our stay (not sure if this is applicable for all units). New unit being built in the area during our stay (Christmas time 2023). Mini marts, food stall & self service laundry available along the main road, few hundred meters away.

One of the rooms booked (one bedroom house) didn't have TV and WIFI signal weak inside probably due to the metal cladding and door. Not much of issue for guests who don't intend to stay inside. Access from maid road to the location was a small tarmac road which can fit only one car. We missed the junction the first time. Maybe the property operators in the area can do a bit of gotong royong to clean up the bushes, could be scary and dangerous for guests who walk to the main road at night to go to mini marts/ food stall.

Wonderful views, nice quiet place. Would stay again!

Quiet location and nice surroundings with a wonderful semi-private beach where you can see interesting flora and fauna. Owners were friendly and helpful. Also loved the cute cats and free drinkable water from a tank. There are couple of really nice and local restaurants right next to the place. Beach was much nicer than in some of the reviews, but not swimmable - there's a large swimmable beach connected to this one couple hundred meters north, walkable even during high tide.

We would have liked more shelves, hooks or something alike in the room for our belongings. The bathroom was so small that you had to shower over the toilet bin. The walls of the room were quite thin, so earplugs are recommended for light sleepers.

Little gem.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Red Coral Cottage. It is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the views. There is a restaurant nearby serving delicious lunch and dinner and a small coffee place where you can get a lovely breakfast. Night market on Friday is a must as well as the Tanjung Rhu Beach (10 minutes drive). The owners are very kind, friendly and helpful. Views are breathtaking.
