    The Residence Inn Columbia Northeast/Fort Jackson Area provides a great experience with friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, and good amenities. However, there were some minor issues such as powe (Read More)r problems, train noise in the morning, and a broken shower handle. The breakfast was adequate and the customer service, especially from Alison, was exceptional. The hotel manager, Rebecca, also resolved a disappointment regarding breakfast on Christmas Day. Overall, the customer service received was unbeatable.

    I would not stay there again.
    When booking this stay, we were told there was no penalty for cancellations. Due to medical issues we couldnt arrive until Tuesday instead of Monday. When I cancelled Monday night only, my rate went up yo$199.00 a night. I finally got them to reduce it a little but nothing like the price I was given at time of making the reservation.

    Facilities were clean and very nice we stayed for three nights for military graduation and it was a very good experience the king bed was comfortable and accommodations were excellent
    We had to ask for clean towels and pick up our room daily as they say they refresh every other day but ours was never done

    The suite was comfy but service is limited
    I didnt receive room service during my stay. The room carried a weird moldy smell. We walked into the dining hall for some breakfast and water at 6:15am on Saturday morning before checking out. The ladies would not allow us to eat anything because they said it wasnt open until 6:30am. I feel it soured the experience. There were several times when I went down to the lobby and the attendant was no where to be found. There were several black spiders that I kept killing in the room.
