    Terrible avoid at all costs
    Nothing it was dirty, like building site
    Staff rude, not given the right room, dirty , sun beds dirty couldnt use the main pool as workman everywhere . Couldnt use balcony as building and noise . Restaurant not open. Room Dirty tv dont work air con didnt work . Insect investation. Really noisy bad food everything was terrible . Left after one night

    It was fair but could have been better if provided new or better rooms.
    Food, Ambiance, Location.
    Rooms are very old especially 1001-1010 number. Its adjacent part was under some civil Work and it lobby was stinking bad . Also these rooms are very small in size. Need proper painting and better reinforcement in room provisions.

    I didn't like anything specific to say.
    The restaurant wasn't served non-veg in the morning. I was traveling with small kids where they are in the habit of eating eggs and chicken. I wasted my money.

    Mouldy duvet and bugs/insect infested mattress
    Location : Proximity to the beach
    During the stay, I was given a mattress which had bugs/insects on them, and a duvet that had mould on it, which i asked the housekeeping to take back @Riva staff sorry,i didnt have pics to prove the insect on my skin but it did affect my sleep and caused itchiness on my skin.

    Decent affordable luxury.
    On top of the cliff on mandrem beach which is a quite, clean and peaceful beach. Good resort, good breakfast, very good in-room dining and they have 24 hour restaurant with very good food options which is a rarity in a resort/hotel at this price point. Family friendly, good staff, nice people and good eating options close by. Transport to other parts of Goa easily available through front desk.
    The number of rooms vis-a-vis the size of the property is very high so barely any open spaces left. Infact there was construction going on right in front of our room whereby numerous people can just stare inside which was a turn off. Staff was cordial enough and they changed us to a better room at no extra cost but would have liked to know in advance about the construction. LAst thing you want on your vacay is someone banging the hammer in front of you through the day. Cleanliness of major part of room was good but some parts of the cupboard, shelves were dusty.

    We loved our stay at Riva. The location of the resort between the main road and beach is excellent and easy to access. The resort is perfect for families, very kid friendly. The staff is very helpful and responding, special mention to Divya who helped us with our requests. The food is really good including the breakfast spread. Highly recommended!
    The only feedback we had was for the room maintenence and upkeep. The rooms need refurbishment and the cleaning has to be better which we thought was done in haste.
