Nice design, large room, very comfortable

Bed a little hard (bit was ok for me), bit of a walk (20 mins) to the old town area along a road with no actual footpath

I like that the room was so dimly lit. Suitable for you to just destress and spend the day in your room. Beds were comfy, check in was seamless and the overlook was a bit moody, urban and rustic. Opposite of melaka so def recommended.

Towels are worn and torn, , tea for breakfast one tea bag swimming in big tea pot, no possibile to make your own tea ,using Lipton te is not idea for high rated hotel. hotel owner need to think about this this .

Staff were friendly, kind and attentive. Room was very clean, although under the bed hadnt been cleaned for a long time. Bed was firm but surprisingly comfortable for its firmness. While its not an amazing location, there are some good local eateries nearby and most of the main attractions were with a 25 min walk or short Grab ride.

There was a persistent, very bad smell emanating from the drains in the bathroom. Staff would come and clean snd mask the smell with some chemicals. It would be ok for a day or so and the smell would return. It would fill the entire room. Not so pleasant to return to after a day out. While there is sn emphasis on interior industrial look, the atmosphere felt a bit oppressive to me and the place was lacking a vibe- just my personal feeling. Note to people who like to go to the bar for a drink after a day of exploring- this hotel is dry. Aircon in gym wasnt working, so workouts were hot and very sweaty! On balance, although its a good place, I probably wouldnt choose to stay here again. There are better options around.
