    The Sand Dollar Inn offers nice balcony rooms equipped with essential amenities like microwave, coffee, mini fridge, and USB ports. The mattresses and linen are of great quality. The location is conv (Read More)enient, being close to shopping, dining, and a short walk to the beach. Though the rooms could use updating, they are decently clean with a great functioning fridge and AC. The staff is friendly and efficient, particularly the desk clerk Eric, who provided excellent service. Overall, it is a good value for the price.

    This location allow you to check in before 3pm and check out if needed can nice u time.
    The maids act like they don't understand English. They lag on cleaning rooms, and not very tidy when they do clean. The main office person is always rushed and really no patience. He's not rude, and he is quick to get you into your room, but just not to friendly. Maybe he's stressed. Although he does seem like he's got a lot of responsibilities.

    Short stay for a stop over in Monterey
    Pretty basic beachside motel type property. Felt safe. Room was clean, wifi was good. Nice location; had access to all I needed. Usually within 5 mins.

    Very big room.
    Pool area smelt of gas/fuel fumes and poorly lit within corridors. Not pleasant atmosphere. Smelt marijuana occasionally outside. Condition of doors and fittings need updating/cleaning. Stains on toilet floor region.
