A unique and fun place to stay!

Cool location near Haw Park Villa - nice and secluded feeling. Comfortable and modern feel, unusual and fun experience.

Wouldnt recommend bringing any food due to ants. Kinda inconvenient to not be able to run AC with one person in the room if the other takes the key card. It is kinda hard to find.

Very friendly and helpful staff members. The container experience was fun.

If you stay there in summer, be aware the place is surrounded by trees. Its nice, but it also means there might be (very small) ants. Not a big problem if you keep the room clean, though.

The container is well-equipped with facilities such as toilet, showering area, tv area and resting area. The staff are friendly and helpful.

The facilities are not very clean and there are quite a bit of bugs, which managed to get in. But this is also unavoidable since it is around the haw par villa area. I also found out a huge price diff between using booking.com and airbnb website.

it was a good experience but dont expect too much

it was a nice and cozy space. the aircon units were good and strong. the curtains were effective at ensuring privacy and keeping the sun out. hpv mrt is also close to very convenient places like vivocity, one-north, buona, and kent ridge. there are 2 beds (smaller than queen-sized), one directly above the sofa, which you can fold up to store if you need the space. the fridge and freezer is very spacious and clean, as is the sink area. a new sponge was provided for us, as well as cooking utensils and condiments like oil and salt/pepper.

- if you are taking public transport, the trek up the hill through the park is a real workout. i thought itd be manageable since we are relatively young but to have to climb that hill every time we returned, it made me wish we had a car. - tons of mosquitoes, so you have to be quick about closing the sliding door when entering/exiting. even then, bugs somehow manage to sneak into the container even when youve locked up during the day. just walking up to the container alone we got bitten like crazy. not sure what good the tri-weekly fumigation does. killing mosquitoes inside the container was like having a mini-game. the first time i entered the container i had to kill 2 mosquitoes already, one in the toilet and one in the bedroom. - toothbrushes and toothpaste are not provided. towels and basic shampoo/soap are though. - the bidet water pressure is extremely weak, as good as not having a bidet. - the suggested food places in the area are all at least 500m away along the science and tech buildings. - the shower is built in such a way that water will keep escaping the shower space and pool outside the door. there are no extra floor mats so youll have to sun the mat on the patio in the day.

Nothing, was unable to check-in as no people around Ended up goingbto another hotel for the night

Address given was not really accurate, after half an hour with the taxi we finally found it and hsd to argue with security to allow us through Rats were running around the area It looked like an abandoned parking lot very undesirable Couldn't get into the room and no-one around to help so had to leave and find another hotel just as it got dark Worst $200+ i have ever spent

Quiet value-for-money stay in a park

The room was great for our needs, clean and well equipped with new furniture and appliances. The (murphy) beds are comfy, but note that the one of them is opened instead of the TV sofa. Lorraine, out host, was super nice and accommodating for all of our needs. Access to the Haw Par Villa MRT Station is great during the day, not only an easy walk downhill, but also with the nice statues in the park. The place is very quiet, located within a park, with no traffic noise and only the occasional gardener in the morning.

The location is a bit isolated with very little shops and eateries nearby. Getting back from the MRT station or bus stops is uphill and is harder with luggage or a stroller. After 7:30pm the park access is closed and a longer hike to the other access gate is needed. That gate is also closed later in the evening, but a guard is there to open, if needed. I'd recommend obtaining the security booth phone number, to be on the safe side.

Quiet, comfortable stay

Quiet, comfortable and generally clean. Loraine, the owner (i think) is friendly and helpful. There's netflix if u decide to stay in. There's a fridge with a pack of ice, also salt, pepper and oil to do simple cooking. Spacious enough for 4 ppl.

Nothing for me but do understand given the location is near lots of greenery one should expect some insects but the hotel did provide insect repellant.
