This is my favourite place to stay when visiting Suffolk. The staff and owners are all lovely and you get a warm welcome. The accommodation is in its own separate block just to the side of the pub and its fab. The beds are comfy and the showers are powerful and nice and hot. The pub itself is full of character with big fireplaces and lots of choices of where to sit. The food is freshly cooked and everything I had was delicious. There's a good sized car park so no need to worry about vehicle safety. There is also a nice colourful children's play area and lots of outside seating/picnic benches for the summer months.

Food was basic but tasty. Huge plateful too much for us. Breakfast very reasonable. Bathroom was very good.
Room outside and upstairs I am disabled, so hard. One chair in room very dirty.

Everything we expected and would certainly recommend to others.
We liked the fact the accommodation was in a separate building from the main pub. Both breakfast and evening meals were excellent particularly 'blackboard' options. Very good sized portions. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
No squeaky floorboards above our bedroom, but appreciate this is the nature of older buildings.
