    Spires Barn Lodge is a great option for hosting large groups. The Kiwi atmosphere and fantastic host create a comfortable and cosy experience. There are 7 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms available, ensuring (Read More) plenty of space. The highlight is the beautiful large backyard, perfect for big gatherings and equipped with BBQ facilities. The host maintains the lodge to a high standard of cleanliness, making it a fantastic choice for big crowds.

    Excellent larger scale accommodation at a fair price, friendly and helpful hosts, great location.
    Spires Barn Lodge is ideal for a large family group, group of friends or small visiting sports team? Space to spare! The bedrooms were very quiet and the beds very comfortable. A large lounge and very large conservatory with plenty of spare seating makes Spires Barn Lodge a very sociable location. The kitchen is large enough and well equipped for large groups. Although just out of Christchurch, only five minutes to Hornby for shops, and located in beautiful countryside.
    When the sun is shining the conservatory gets very warm, some of the bi fold doors are quite difficult to open to let air in, maybe some work required to make these easier to use. But this is a minor quibble.

    Not a downside but just something to keep in mind there are no shops in close proximity so is worth coming prepared :)

    I think house is due for a touch up a bit of a birthday otherwise everything else is ok

    We will do it again, great facility and service
    space and facilities - As a group we had our own bedrooms but room to sit talk and eat!
    out of the rat race, in the country but close enough for us to go in to the city for our conference.

    Did not have breakfast at lodge but facilities and location was great. Lesley was very friendly and accommodating.
