Problems we faced were :
1. The caretakers were practically living in the house. The dining area was always completely occupied by the caretaker family. They kept the drawing room locked and that contained the TV. Why did we pay for the whole property when the only access we got was the 2 rooms?
2. The caretakers charged us for cleaning the utensils. If we pay for the breakfast, aren't utensils included in the same? I have never paid at even 7 star restaurants for utensil cleaning. Absolutely ridiculous
3. The caretakers never gave us any privacy. The property allows for using the kitchen. The caretakers used to come and monitor us whenever we came to make maggi or tea. (We bought our own maggi )
4. The property is good, but we always book good properties. our experience here, as compared to the experience at other BnBs in other hill stations for poor.
5. The breakfast of idli sambhar was terrible. The idli was rubbery. And the caretaker had the audacity to tell us that we didnt know how an idli tasted like.
6. There was one geyser for 5 people that stayed. Water used to get cold after 2 bathed
7. The caretakers only turned on the generator when the water stopped coming in the toilets. We sat in humoid rooms without AC because they wouldnt turn on the generator!
8. I wish there was some refund or compensation, as I genuinely feel cheated by the beautiful property which was unliveable with the caretakers.
