    The location and setting are great. The views from the deck are great. The Ops Manager is very helpful. The Chilli at the restaurant is wonderful.
    We rented the villa and a chalet at the main lodge. Unfortunately we got locked in the villa as the guard insisted that the shed gate has to be locked (which is the entry into the villa). In case of emergency there is no escape as the car and people get locked in. The villa could have been cleaner behind the beds where there were cobwebs.

    Special honeymoon stay at dreamy location
    Amazing location, we had a really special visit. There are great facilities at the hotel and spa was very relaxing. Tent and outdoor shower / bath was amazing, it made our stay a unique experience. Staff were exceptionally helpful and accommodating and booked us a panoramic tour which we loved

    I liked the Spa verry much it was relaxing, I even dozed off, real value for money
    I ordered salmon for dinner it was a bit burned did not like it. Some of the staff @ the dinning hall were not friendly she did not give us butter for bread @breakfast, when we asked for it she became annoyed, I loved my room even though it was a bit far from the river, no visible charging points I had to search for a plug to plug my phone charger. A cart or trolley for the luggage would assist a lot

    Nice, great setting. But overpriced
    Loved the setup and location. House we stayed at was nice and loved showering outside in the morning. Had a really nice dining area down by the river and drinks area with swimming pool.
    We had just come from a 5 star resort near phallbora and this is how this one was sold. So driving to the property we were first put off by the main gate. It did not give off a 5 star feeling. Once at the reception we were greeted very friendly and shown around. As this was our last stay we wanted to end it on a high note. But we found the property to be nice but not excellent. Food was good but I found in comparison to the other 5 star resorts we stayed at to below them however more expensive. We also did spa treatments. These were not up to the same standards as what we get in Europe, but they charged just as much. I wanted to tell this if they asked. But they never asked us at the end of the day. So I thought it is not importnat enough to know. Yes we did rent an house and we definitely did not need to as we were only there to sleep. So I just felt that the amount we paid for the 3 nights and the treatments, it was not in comparison to others and I felt this stay was not real value for money as breakfast was also not included.

    An incredible property - a special place!
    The property is absolutely stunning and set on the Sabie River. So much detail has gone into making special spaces to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The restaurant is lovely, the spa treatments were amazing and the staff are the best there is. We were made to feel so welcome and we loved our two days there. Nothing was too much trouble and every staff member was so friendly.
    We stayed in the Stone House at the top of the property. The setting is beautiful and the sunsets incredible, but I dont think its set up for Winter stays. The house is sparsely decorated, with cement floors, walls, kitchen etc. The fireplace doesnt work as it just smokes up the house. It would have been nice to have a gas heater or aircon in the living area. Some extra blankets for bedrooms would also be nice. The bedding is hard and noisy, so not the most comfortable sleep. The main bathroom is also outside, which is quite tricky in the middle of the night and cold. In Summer, Im sure its absolutely spectacular!
