    Svendsgaard's Inn is a lovely little place with a perfect location and a friendly staff. The rooms may be a bit dated, but they are extremely clean and well-maintained. The staff is helpful and accom (Read More)modating, even assisting with finding the right room for specific needs. The hotel provides good value for its central location in Carmel. Some repairs and renovations are happening, and there is no longer breakfast delivery. Overall, highly recommended for a pleasant stay in Carmel.

    The staff are really nice! And I love their free cookies and hot chocolate! Makes the winter travel very cozy. The rooms are nice and clean with comfortable beds. I would recommend it to the others!

    Friendly staff. Dog friendly. Wonderful location. Loved the cookies and drinks at reception.
    The mattress was sagging in the middle in our room so a bit uncomfortable but very comfy pillows!

    Clean property! Very nice and friendly staff! Cookies and hot chocolate along with water available in the check in area. Super close and walkable to all of the downtown area

    Beds were too uncomfortable. The double bed was too narrow to accommodate 2 people. Heater in the room was noisy and made the room very dry and uncomfortable
