Superb

Excellent location, service, and ambiance-well worth the price for a beautiful, clean Goa experience

We stayed in the seaview cottage and the view and service were amazing; beautiful bathrooms and decor and outdoor spaces. The view was spectacular. The location on one of the few last stretches of clean beach in Goa was amazing. We could also use the restaurants at the sister property (Taj Holiday) which was nice. The smell of jasmine as you walk in the open-air lobby is unforgettable.

The service for all al a carte eating was very slow. I was not expecting this at a 5-star hotel. It was hard after a long day to know that dinner or lunch might take 1-2 hrs with the delay in food. The food was very good, but not "gourmet" or excellent so fine dining patrons might be a bit disappointed. The exception was the Banyan Tree--excellent food and service at the sister property.

The restaurant can get overcrowded especially at breakfast sometimes leading to overwhelming of the staff and mismanagement.

Its worth to stay in sea view villa or Cottage , amazing views

Beautiful Villa, and cottage and attention to details, surprise gifts. Paper moon was food amazing, breads are great, Nelson at paper moon was very attentive.

Entrance to the hotel was messy, Too many ppl, at breakfast. Swimming pool was crowded for Cottage and hotel. But again it was peak season.

I have stayed in all the TAJ properties of goa. but this property has the worst rooms . the basic necessity to stay in a hotel is the room. booked 2 rooms for my family .stayed in sea facing room with sit out. perhaps the most shabby and unhygienic rooms . the room stinks of fungus. everything in the room including the cupboards were stinking.. even the telephone handset which was plastic was smelling of fungus moist smell. i got the linen changed several times but of no use as the smell is ingrained in the rooms. i told the reception desk about the bad condition of the room and was given an answer that ' YES SIR , OUR MAIN BUILDING WILL UNDERGO REPAIR AS ITS VERY OLD AND WE HAVE UPGRADED ONLY OUR COTTAGES ASD VILLAS' .. such a shameful answer as if people who are booking rooms in the main building are fools and paying so much money is a waste. And if you guys think that your old building rooms needs renovation , why are you not informing this to innocent people who are booking these rooms. very very disgusting. the size of the room and the bathroom is not more than a 3 star property room. this hotel it is just being booked because of its name and legacy , but i am sure nobody is gonna repeat their stay after staying in the old building rooms.

Great stay and value for Money. Thumbs up to Chefs and Staff at Kokum Restaurant

I was travelling to Goa with my kids for the first time. My daughter is severely allergic to certain food items and severe means it life threatening. Due to which we avoid travelling to far places. But she wanted to visit Goa so we planned this Trip. The property is very well maintained and staff is very courteous. As my daughter is allergic to certain food items so met the chefs at Kokum restaurant well in advance and informed them about the food allergies. I really appreciate the efforts put in by Chef Roshan, Chef Priyaranjan and Chef Nishant to make us and my daughter feel comfortable. They took very good care of our daughter and made her stay in Goa comfortable. We enjoyed a lot due to them. Other staff at the Kokum restaurant like Vincent was always checking on us and what we need when we were there. Vincent is working in this facility for 40 years and now retiring in March'24, Best wishes to him. The staff at the pool, Gym and other facilities was also very courteous. I will definitely recommend this Resort to anyone visiting Goa.

I didnt like the condition of common washrooms located near the looby. They are very shabby and management should look at it as it is spoiling the show. One more point I wanted to mention is we have offered extra roll away bed for my son (who is 15) but we declined it as the matterss was in bad condition. We didnt expect it from Resort like Taj.
