    We finally got that TAJ feeling which was missing in so many other TAJ hotels around India that we have stayed recently. I wish all others also pick up. This hotel was Awesome, the service, the food, the rooms everything was fabulous.

    The property was amazing! Beautiful views of the mountains and River Ganges. The staff were so welcoming and the food was divine! Be sure to sample the local food at the restaurant!

    Location is absolutely stunning
    Spa facilities, experience and staff were way below par for taj. I couldnt believe taj would be ok with this kind of spa.

    a beautiful property a 1.5 hr drive away from the the commotion, they have their own Priests who do the aarti at the banks of the Ganges, as if you want to drive to the Laxman Jhulla it would take an 1.5 hrs and the roads are bad. Booking.com and the hotel were not up to speed with the number of people travelling so the first thing you hear is that you have booked for single occupancy while we had booked for double occupancy. The hotel had all the information of the people travelling 4 days prior to our arrival and could have easily cleared this mess. After showing them that we had a booking for double occupancy and creating a bit of a stink they upgraded one room to a superior room. The price of the rooms and the service certainly dont match up.

    Its an excellent property with great food and great staff, need a little attention to detail.
    Property is beautifully located. Lush landscaping and gorgeous interiors. Excellent F&B staff, possibly the best I have experienced in India. Special mention for Akshay the bartender at the Riverside Cafe..... Food was excellent at every resteraunt. The yoga and meditation and other wellness sessions were outstanding.
    Front office staff is not equipped to handle experienced travellers. Checkout was a very poor experience. The Spa room where I had a 60 min massage was dirty.

    Beaitiful location with access to the Ganges. We enjoyed the cultural elements of the priest's welcome and evening aarti at the river. The staff went over and beyond to assist with all requests.

    The Resort is beautiful and has been done up very well. It's quaint and very relaxing. The staff is very affable and the food is extremely good, the local cuisine being prepared there is definitely a must try.
    There were a few instances of hygiene with food, which needs to be looked into. The staff acknowledged the mistake and ensured that it was well taken and assured no repetition.

    Fantastic stay. Front office is a disaster. Double billed us for our entire stay. Incredibly incompetent
    Calm beautiful well managed- staff in F&B, Housekeeping, spa and buggy - exceptional
    Takes time to reach - should try to have a rudimentary chemist or basic medication near/on property Front office staff are indifferent rude and incompetent. Double charged us our entire bill. Shocking to see such level of poor management
