EXCELLENT STAY.

I usually prefer room with breakfast only. This is the first time I took the option and I loved it. The only problem is that I have to be back in hotel before dinner time, which is mostly not possible. The food/ buffet is excellent and not comparable to any other hotel. Also, the restuarant staffs needs a special mention. They were always with us for our needs. Truely remarkable.

In house TAXI CAR service needs to improve. Also personal car parking section (not valet parking) should be closer to the entrance. Here, we have to park it in the basement and walk nearly 1 km to reach the lobby.

A few glitches, but overall, a fantastic stay!

The staff is FANTASTIC! Very attentive and professional. We were in the Executive Suite on the 11th floor and the view of Bengaluru from there was expansive. Loved it. Spent a lot of time watching what we are known for here - the never-ending traffic The view of the Metro and the snaky traffic lights at night were beautiful. The suite was pretty, minimalist, very clean, spacious, and well-stocked. The mini fridge needs a bit of cleaning attention, but everything else was spotless. Loved the bathroom - lots of room, separate shower cubicle, and wonderful in-house toiletries. The breakfast buffet was lovely. Lots of breads, cereals, salads, and fruits - which I love - as well as Indian fare. We sat outside near the beautiful, grand Banyan tree in the yard. The gorgeous, cool weather was the best accompaniment. The buffet staff in the restaurant, Palette, are incredible. Quick, prompt, very hospitable, even when the place was full to the brim. The food in the hotel is superlative. The Chicken Biryani was one of the best I have ever had. Highly recommend the South Indian Filter Coffee Ice Cream and the Chocolate Velvette. The pizzas are delicious. Overall, the stay was super relaxing and we felt well looked after.

The check-in was a bit chaotic - there were many guests waiting and the lunch buffet crowd was making the confusion worse. We chose to get lunch as the room wasn't ready. Once it was, the person at the reception made sure to give us the highest floor. But we did lose a bit of time reaching the room - the check-in time was 2 PM and we got in at 3:30 PM. The check-out was slightly off-putting as well. Called for help with the baggage twice, but no one came. Thankfully, we didn't have a lot, so my mother and I could haul our stuff without much stress. Expected better, and the reception apologised when we complained.

I have requested for Delux bedroom. It was good & having sufficient large space for 2 person.

No welcome greetings. No welcome Drink, No information has been shared by hotel staff regarding property. No room tour on How things works ! Buffet Dinner on peleette restaurant was Okay. Lack in variety. I personally felt, SOME of staffs are untrained & need training on Hospitality. As per the Brand Taj I didnt expected this. Communication gap.(I was here to celebrate my wifes birthday. Things were delivered based on punctuality) All comparisons are based on Hotel Taj Devanahalli
