    The Bay Tree Hotel in Burford offers convenient parking, friendly staff, and cozy rooms with excellent heating and comfortable beds. The lounge area has fireplaces for a nice atmosphere. The 600-year (Read More)-old building is nicely appointed, with large and modern rooms. While the main meal did not meet expectations, the complementary cocktail was a nice touch. Overall, it is a pleasant place to stay with some minor meal and ambiance issues.

    Staff and hotel very welcoming to all including the dogs.
    Service was excellent for both evening meal and breakfast. Excellent that it is a dog friendly hotel and dogs able to join you for dinner and breakfast in the bar. Hotel also provided beds for the dogs. Very welcoming to all. Room spacious and over looked the garden. Great also to have two small bottles of water. Bed was huge as well as tall and comfortable.
    Had garden view room but disappointed that dogs were not able to access the garden. There is an extra charge per dog and for each night's stay. The cleaning of the room with dogs is no more than having just 2 adults staying in the room.

    Lovely hotel and great food!
    Receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Very dog friendly!
    Bar staff /waiting staff forgot to get my drink until we reminded them after they had served about 6 other people. Also forgot when I asked for mustard and ketchup which never materialised.

    A charming cotswold stay full of cosiness, country vibes and friendly folk. We'll hopefully be back!
    Such a lovely, charismatic building full of charm and comfort. Loved the open fires, the comfy bed, the Molton Brown products in the bathroom, the cleanliness of the hotel in general, and the friendliness of all the staff. We also had the breakfasts included (we opted for the Full English) and the food was delicious. Couldn't be happier!

    wouldn't hesitate to stay again
    From the moment we arrived we were greeted by a friendly smile, fires were lit so made for a very warm welcome on the coldest day of the year! we ate dinner in the Bar area next to a lovely open fire. The Staff couldn't have been more helpful. The Christmas decorations all around the hotel looked lovely.
