The Bull Inn offers delicious, reasonably priced food with a good variety for all diets. The staff are nice and welcoming, and the location is picturesque. Customers enjoyed dishes like bacon, brie and cranberry sandwich, Chicken Gyros, and venison burger. Additionally, they appreciated the selection of cask ales and the ample parking nearby. Overall, the pub is highly recommended for a pleasant dining experience.

Superb

Loved the position and will definitely stay again.

Great position for the town and on the edge of the country. Excellent breakfast and the young staff were terrific.

Our room was right at the top of the inn which was a bit of a hike but only because of our age.

Very enjoyable, very good service; will visit again

Excellent location; food is very good (it's organic and that is one of the reasons we like to visit). Menu is a little limited but that's because they use locally sourced and grown foods.

Very good

Welcoming and comfortable with great food from local growers.

We enjoyed the breakfast with a great menu to choose from. The location is central to the Dart valley with plenty to see.The local market and the many independent shops with wonderful artisan produce is second to none.

A shower facility would have enhanced our stay otherwise we were very happy.

Friendly service in handsome historic building in great location

Atmospheric building in central location. Excellent shower room and comfortable bed. Very friendly service.

Room cleaning inconsistent. Bed made 3 out of 4 night? Cups unwashed 2 of 4 nights. Bottled water not replaced 1 of 4 nights? Bathroom surfaces unwiped 3 of 4 nights?

Great stay

The Bull is a great place, rooms are comfortable and the food is amazing. Menu changes daily and is really high quality. Great location at the top of Totnes high street. Highly recommend.

Be sure to book a table for dinner in advance. This is not done automatically when staying so we ended up having to eat when tables were available. I would have given them a 10 if we'd been emailed in advance to prompt to book a table for dinner
