    Excellent location for the town, perfect for a short Christmas break.
    The hotel was lovely, especially decorated for Christmas it was very welcoming and festive. The room was spacious, clean and including a lovely selection of teas, coffees and a few treats. The bathroom was a good size too and included full size toiletries. We had breakfast included of which there was a selection of cereals, pastries, fruit and juices to help yourself to and a lovely range of cooked options from porridge, kippers, avocado on toast to a full English option. The staff, especially on reception were all very pleasant, welcoming and friendly.
    I had a festive afternoon tea booked for the 2nd day which was a bit of a let down, it included a mini mince pie, a turkey and cranberry sandwich and I had a cracker on the table. Ive had much better for much less . The only problem with the room was that the water pressure for the shower was very low but it is an old property and we were on the top floor. It was a little different to find the parking around the back of the property as we arrived when it was dark and there was no clear signage.

    Lovely looking hotel. Spacious and comfortable room. Good food in the restaurant in the evening and a good selection for breakfast.
    We didn't find the hotel particularly welcoming or especially friendly which was a shame. Otherwise, it was a great place.

    A comfortable and upmarket hotel in the centre of Tetbury.
    A comfortable and upmarket hotel in the centre of Tetbury. It is warm, welcoming and the staff are particularly friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean and well appointed. Usefully for the centre of Tetbury it has a car park. The building is historic and interesting and it has been refurbished to the highest standard whilst retaining its original features.
    The room rates and bar prices are on the high side, so it was cheeky to be advised that we could check in early at 2pm for an extra 20.
