    More toiletries. Stayed for 3nts with shower gel for 1nt & no shampoo. No light between car park & back door. Pitch black. Kettle in room too big to fill in basin, had to use mug to fill it.

    Very friendly & helpful staff. Nice, comfortable room with lovely views across the surrounding countryside. A friendly, local pub with good atmosphere, providing a range of delicious food. The breakfasts were excellent, too.
    Our room would have benefitted from a full-length mirror, and a plug near to the dressing table (which had a small mirror) to plug a hairdryer into.

    A great Inn/Bistro Pub with excellent facilities, welcoming with a great menu and staff
    The Welcome was great a quaint Inn with Character & Charm my room was like an apartment warm and choice very comfortable, Phil the Landlord/Chef was great a warm welcome and the Menu in the Restaurant was varied and cooked well with excellent presentation, as was the Breakfast again very good. Emily & Jo in the Bar/Restaurant were very attentive the service was great.
    I had a top floor Suite which I had was excellent but two flights of stairs may be a problem for the less mobile

    Everything!! Amazing inn, Amazing staff! Room very beautiful... Breakfast good.
    Duvet and sheet not cleaner with spot and hairs. No cappuccino for breakfast

    Beautiful place in the countryside
    The suite room was beautiful, clean and cosy, made of a bedroom, a bathroom and a lounge with couch, tv, coffee table and a chess board. There was a kettle and instant coffee and tea if you wanted some during your stay. Soap and shower gel are served and there is a hair dryer, too. Parking is available. The room was just above a pub, serving food at breakfast, lunch and dinner. The breakfast was included in the price. The place is a bit isolated from any kind of facilities (you have to move by car), but the surroundings were beautiful and magical under the snow. There were few houses around us, but you are practically immersed in the countryside. The staff was extremely kind and ready to help for anything. The place is located near Whitby. It is very easy to reach Whitby Abbey by car, which I highly recommend as a short trip.

    There was no continental breakfast, only English breakfast. To be honest, this is not a major thing. Continental breakfast would be my preference, but I did like my poached eggs ;)

    The Falcon is in perfect location not being a couple of miles from Whitby which was great. The pub is welcoming, has a nice menu, beautiful fire, friendly staff, all round lovely stay.
