    The seaview from our room was stunning, the room layout also very nice. Staff were great. We had free use of the spa at cardis bay and It was incredible
    Sadly the bathroom in the room we stayed in was in need of abit of work. large paint bubbles due to water damage & the cold water tap wasn't working. Also me and my partner had the gannet breakfast (a full English) sadly it wasn't great. Nice ingredients but the bacon wasn't cooked that well & it wasn't a very big portion. + Small crab apples on the plate included. Personally a waste of time and they'd be much better off just sticking to people's favourites ie hash browns etc. Lastly when checking out a charity donation was automatically on our bill when settling up our bar bill. Poor touch personally yes obvs it can be removed. But guests should be asked if they'd like to make a donation. Not just automatically put on their bill without being made aware. Room for improvement but we would stay again

    Would very happily recommend !
    From the friendly and helpful staff to the tasteful decoration throughout to the quality of the food, everything was way more than satisfactory. This is exactly the sort of accommodation we were hoping for, and we would be more than happy to return.
    Slightly limited dinner menu.

    Very noisy and disturbed night with rude waiter for breakfast
    Reception staff were very friendly,
    We were given the room above sports bar which clearly had people using it until 3.45 in the morning so lots of noise which kept us awake. Night porter never answered his phone. For breakfast next day the guy in charge of food rolled his eyes when partner said she was gluten free and then still served her food which was not gluten friendly. Nice food but the elderly male serving should not be in hospitality.

    Good base from which to explore St Ives and the surrounding area.
    Nice room with sea view. Helpful receptionists. Good food.
    Our room was in a separate building so you have to go outside to get to breakfast or dinner. There is no lift to this room.

    The glorious Gannet Hotel
    Clean and modern quirky decor, a brilliant shower and very comfy beds. Good and hot cooked breakfast and thoughtful and attentive staff, the relaxed and organised atmosphere helped us unwind.
    The car parking was across two sites, one was across the road and was not well lit at night, an Led night light would be appreciated. There was a hidden step on a ramped walkway that would be improved with a yellow/glow in dark warning sticker.
