    We stayed in the nook across the road from the main building, we were disappointed..
    Very good breakfast and selections
    Condition of the room we stayed in, cracked floor Tiles holes in the plasterboard light fixtures loose and hanging from the ceiling, Room was clean and the bed upstairs we felt with the stairs was a little unsafe

    Location is good. Parking. Friendly on arrival.
    Dirty, dusty, damp, mould growing all over the back door (room 20). Moved to room 17, again, when lights switched on the amount of dust on everything was horrible. Hadnt been cleaned properly, mouldy areas in the shower room, radiator leaking in the bathroom, needed a good scrub. Curtains were damp and dusty, condensation dripping from window. It looked as if the bare minimum had been done to clean the room, new towels and bedding and a vacuumCoffee machine had old coffee pod left in situ the rest was grubby. I had a busy schedule and no time to move to a third room. I was also traveling with my pet, at point of booking it didnt state that it was an extra 15 per night for a pet, this came in an email after paying for a NON REFUNDABLE room (not sure what for, the place is filthy). The money for my pet was taken out of my account an hour before I left. So my room was 120 per night, it definitely wasnt worth that at all. Deliveries to the pub below were early and noisy as was the recycling of bottles. I travel a lot and this was overpriced and over rated. The damp and mould issues are a health hazard. I emailed the hotel, but have not had a response. I wish Id booked elsewhere.

    Was poor considering price charged ! Maids Head down the road far superior !
    Great location Needs major clean throughout ! Staff seem de-motivated Taps falling apart every time you turned on bits fell off ! Red hot water ! Very pretty building but needs major renovation . Rotten window frames. Bad condensation ! Stayed 3 nights and room wasn't cleaned and tea bags not replenished. No milk and had to request from bar area ! Stayed here twice before and standards have dropped for sure ! Not sure if we would stay here again ! Reception wasn't manned !! Only on arrival and departure . Poor !
    Property was very dirty ! In need of major deep clean and new windows as rotten wood and bad condensation ! No staff on reception ! Nobody on the bar ! No order in the place ! Needs management overseeing staff who seem disinterested !

    Poor room, central heating didnt work properly so room cold. Bathroom outdated and Cold . Towel rail didnt warm room. Old bath with over shower not easy or safe to clamber in and out of.

    Nice hotel and good location but we will eat elsewhere if we stay again.
    Clean. Nice decor. Good location.
    Cooked breakfast took over 30 minutes even though it was quiet. Standard wines are very expensive No bread with soup even though menu says sardough bread. On asking, I was offered granary bread but it came after I had finished my soup. Rooms are very warm - we opened the window. Very complicated bill.
