A truly amazing trip to Birmingham, which lived up to expectations
The hotel was lovely, grand as the name suggests and food was amazing
I thought our room was smaller than expected and I did check with reception that we had been given the correct room.
Got awoken at like 4:30, 5am by the bin men first with bottles smashing and then with metal bin lids crashing. Not sure what the hotel can do about that?

Location great, recently refurbished so decor is in great condition, and friendly welcoming staff.
Couldnt get into the main bar even though staying, you have to book to reserve a seat, used the bar downstairs one bar maid to a complete bar full of on the last Saturday before Xmas and hardly had any drinks very poor for a hotel restaurant!
