Despite this, the staff were charming and accommodating, making the overall experience lovely. The venue's handling of a wedding was also praised.     Lovely old property with lots of character. Cozy, lovely little bar and nice breakfast.
    Was a little pricey, especially food outside of B&B. Some of the bedrooms showers didn't work when opposite room was also in use...but it was an old building with lots of character.

    Everyone was very welcoming and the staff made a special effort to have our rooms ready early so we could get ready for a wedding. Only downside was that the kitchen closed at 9.30am on a Sunday which we felt was a little too early

    A beautiful property with very friendly and professional staff. Top marks.
    The owners clearly aim to provide and maintain the highest standards in all areas - from cleanliness to service levels, and from environmental concerns to high quality food and accommodation. We were very impressed indeed, and we have stayed in hundreds of hotels in our lifetime. We should also mention how friendly, helpful and approachable the owners were and this carried through to all the staff we encountered. We felt very at home here.
    To be honest there was nothing we didn't like. Everything was handled very professionally and we were made to feel extremely welcome right from the outset. Nothing was too much trouble.

    It was the 2nd time I stayed in this hotel. Love it! Will come back again!
    The room is spacious and spotlessly clean with lovely country style decor. The garden is well-kept. All staff including feline crew Neptune are helpful, friendly and attentive. Breakfast is made to order with fresh ingredients. There are enough choices in the dinner menu - meat, poultry, fish and vegetarian. I appreciate the hotels effort in using local produce.
    Absolutely no complaint at all!
