Reviewers Mention About The Hideout !

The Hideout is a great place to enjoy some pool with friends, with friendly staff and the option to bring your own drinks. While pricing is on the higher side, it is comparable to other establishment (Read More)s. Booking ahead is recommended as it can get busy. The venue is spacious and clean, although not wheelchair accessible. Food options are limited to reheated pizza. Overall, a fun spot for a game of pool.

    I really liked it!
The apartments are wonderful. I would like to express special gratitude to the owner Austin, he was always in touch and provided separate, very convenient instructions on how to get to the accommodation, where to buy a bus card, etc. He is very sociable and friendly. The apartments are 2 minutes from the bus stop. From the centre, it takes about half an hour without transfers. I liked that you could use absolutely everything in the kitchen: there is a stove (gas), microwave, kettle, oven, etc. There were also additional products from the owners, which could also be freely used. It was very convenient. There is also a store with everything you need a couple of minutes away and a bar 10 minutes away))) If we go to Dublin again, I would like to stay in these same apartments.
Sometimes the room was a little cool because... The heating comes on periodically. The beds have electric sheets which add to the comfort. We also sometimes heard our neighbours, and I think they heard us too.

The stay was great! It was nice and cozy. Cleanliness was really good and lovely host/s.
    - Location was really good for specific attractions like Conor McGregors Pub (The Black Forge Inn), SBG Ireland and Drimnagh Castle. Also good bus route to get to the heart of Dublin. - Host was really kind, provided advice, answered questions and assisted when needed be. Even going above and beyond by giving me his leap card whilst in Ireland and dropping me off at the airport as he needed to go there anyway. - The place was nice and clean. - Plenty of utilities (share fridge, breakfast bar, plenty of bathrooms, etc). - Comfy Bed. - Very well decorated house on the inside with fancy lighting.
    - Host's dogs were very loud and aggressive whenever I would walk into the house which was a little irritating.

    Shared accommodation that feels private
The accommodation and the rooms are clean and well-equipped with the most necessary accessories, and even though the house is shared, it's quiet and our stay felt private. Nice, safe neighbourhood, friendly, hospitable host. Information and house rules were clearly laid out by the host before arrival which was really helpful. Quiet hours are kept but there is no curfew which is rare with private hosts and essential if you have late night plans. Price would be considered high elsewhere, but for Dublin it's excellent value for money. Huge plus that my globetrotter cat was welcome here :-)
Bit further out from the center, but for this price a central location would be unthinkable in Dublin. Bus service runs late into the evening though so I was able to get home from the 3Arena even after a late night concert. Upper bunk bed felt a bit unsafe as the mattress was so thick that the bedrails didn't reach over it. Had to squeeze hangers next to the mattress to prevent accidently rolling off at night.

    Great stay with kind host!
The host was super nice! We had delayed flight so we cannot make it to official check-in. We called to host and he woke up and accommodate us. No matter time he showed us everything and explained shops, stops etc. The attitude of the host was really great! I think it's great place to stay.
There were two bathrooms but only one with toilet. When there are more guests it can be time consuming. But it's not the big deal.

The owners were very nice and helpful. They have transformed their home into short term accommodation. The family is downstairs while guests are upstairs. It is a great jumping off point for seeing Dublin. Once you get an understanding that the #9 bus brings you right to the town center it is a breeze to get to and from downtown. It is a little far from the Dublin core but you get to meet the real people of Dublin on the bus each morning and you are not overcome by the noise of Temple Bar at night. A true taste of the Dublin burbs.
The owners just need to update their directions to the house and should clarify that their bus stop is Cherry Grove 2433. Downloading the Transport for Ireland bus App will help.

Lovely stay at Dublin's cosy hideout
It was great value for money with extra tips from the welcoming and charming hosts on what is worth visiting and exploring. Very well communicated with the city center and easy to get to.
It's really great value for money. I don't think anything should be changed.
