The LaValle Coastal Club & Resort has a friendly and hardworking staff who provide excellent service. The location is great for weddings and offers ample parking and spacious rooms. The resort amenit (Read More)ies include a golf course and tennis courts with beautiful views. However, there were issues with inconsistent room pricing and rooms that had a musty smell. Despite this, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the resort is conveniently located near Solana Beach and the Del Mar racetrack.

Loved the location and facilities. The resort offers a lot however everything is an additional charge. Loved the pickle ball courts. Golf course looked awesome however too expensive to play.

Rooms were not updated. The decor was dated and did not meet the standards for a luxury accomodation in 2023. No elevators to the rooms.
We requested a 1st floor room and that request was ignored. There was no elevator to the 2nd floor, so we had to take the stairs the entire weekend.

A good value stay. Helpful and friendly staff. Would probably use again.
It was very close to where we needed to be on Thanksgiving. Staff were very helpful and allowed us to check in early which was great. Had a good meal in the restaurant one night.
Probably needs a little bit of updating. Some of the paintwork was a bit marked and the carpet could do with replacing. But otherwise not too bad considering the cost.

Nice site, great weekend.
We went of site for breakfast on Saturday to meet our group and we left early Sunday to get back home. We attended a welcome party for our nephew's wedding on Friday and the food was excellent.
Parts of the property seemed run down.

Loved the views and neighborhood.
Rooms were old. Our shower rod was all rusted, walls were chipped, we went to sit on balcony and opened screen and it fell off the track. I meant to take photos but did not as we were there for a wedding and were very busy.

It was comfortable, but not fancy.
Location was close to the wedding venue we were attending. Food at the restaurant was good and service was good.
Outside of the hotel was very dirty. Spiderwebs everywhere. Our screen door was broken, so we couldnt let fresh air in without letting misquotes in.
The Blow dryer in the room did not work. Tried three times to reach the front desk for a replacement and never got them to pick up.

Great location and staff. Hopefully, plans are being made to improve this wonderful property.
Did not have breakfast but the lunch the day we arrived was excellent. The room was bright and cheery and service was great!
Carpet in room was awful. A tripping hazard to say the least. Bathroom needed painting. Worst of all was the air conditioner.sooo noisy it kept us awake most of the night.

Major issues; think twice
They didn't bat an eyelash when i asked for money back
What the heck, a major resort and the water goes out? Not for a little bit either, but overnight, easily 9 pm to 10 am.....Right when you need the facilities. Very disappointed not to mention the major renovation needed with fraying carpets and robes with broken belt loops. Not good
