    Location,staff and cleanliness were great. Rooms could do with updating but bed was comfortable.
    A little dated.No Wi-if in courtyard room or phone signal which could be a big issue for many people.

    Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Views are stunning and you do not need reminding that this is definitely the Peak District.
    The hotel decor and facilities are just a bit tired but it probably suits dog owners and anyone using it as a base to explore the lovely walks which start just a short walk from the hotel. I wouldn't hesitate to book again.
