    The staff were courteous and professional.
    Upon entering the rooms we found lizards crawling on the wall. When asking the staff to clear them out, the response was why, are scared of lizards? Also, kids woke up in the middle of night with a large cockroach crawling on the bed net. The ocean view room had no ocean view whatsoever. As matter of fact, the room was facing the opposite side. The only way to get the ocean view was to step outside the room and look in the opposite direction. The shower curtain did not cover the shower and the bathroom flooded every time someone showered. The Air conditioner was set at the lowest temperature and barely made a difference. Even worse, on the second and last night, the power was out for at least 3 hours at night which made it unbearable to stay in the room. Unlike the property next door, the hotel has no generators. We ended up leaving the hotel and headed to the airport 9 hours early just to escape the heat.

    The Area was good. The food, fresh juice, coconut source was superb!!! The staff was very good, friendly and welcoming.
    We were not given the room that we booked. The room that we were given was very small and packed with 2 single beds together with a double bed. There was no closet to pack our clothes yet we were staying for 3 nights.

    Unbelievable place, even nicer than the photos, the best little refuge to stay at in Stone town!! You're 10minutes from the city center but feel like you are in this calm oasis with a beautiful garden and all the comfort and welcoking staff. Couldn't recommend it enough, and the crazier part is the price!! Worth 10 times what you pay, definitely the best value for money I've ever seen! Make sure you stay more than one night to enjoy fully, I wish I'd stayed in that garden forever

    Its a nice place for a shot stay
    The staff was very friendly! And we really enjoyed the garden and silence during the day.
    The room was ok for one night, they have air conditioning, however the exterior noise didnt allow a good sleep. The bathroom should be improved.

    Elegant structure just a little isolated but still central. Beautiful garden, clean rooms and super friendly staff. The receptionist Richard is friendly, courteous and truly professional.

    The staff were very friendly and attentive, special shout out to Sada and Omaar. The facilities were also vert peaceful and calm.
