Such a Disappointment
The location was great for us, which is why we chose this hotel, we have stayed on 2 other occasions with no problems.
Check-in 3pm, arrived to be advised our room wasn't ready, advised suites take longer to prepare.
5pm room still not ready, advised we could sit in the bar and have a drink.
5.40pm we were handed a room key with no apology, they did send up a bottle of Prosecco, however, as we had a dinner reservation at 6.15pm we could not enjoy this.
We managed to get into our room grab the fastest shower ever and be back out for 6pm.
So all in all we only actually only slept in the room, we couldn't relax for a couple of hours as we had planned, if we known that this was going to happen we could of just stayed at Premier Inn for a quarter of the price.
So disappointing and a cost we could of saved.

The staff were all lovely and made us feel very welcome
We had made 2 separate bookings but they struggled to understand and consolidate the bookings so that we did not have to move rooms. It took about 45 mins at check in to sort out and then we were called the following morning and told that we needed to check out. I have addressed this with the hotel but has no reply to date
