    Nice location, great food and service.
    The food was exceptional. The service was fantastic. The staff were friendly.
    The description said soundproofing in room but we found it to be noisy above and below. This spoilt our stay as otherwise it would have been perfect.

    Very friendly staff, good breakfast and excellent location. Room was clean, cosy and quiet. Stunning views of the surrounding area, the free room upgrade was much appreciated.
    The evening meal portion sizes were lacking, in particular the lamb hot-pot was on the small side with hardly any meat. I did ask if the portion size was large before ordering and I was told yes. I hadnt eaten much that day & driven 6hrs, so needed a big meal. I had to buy chips to feel full. I mentioned this to the staff but they still charged me in full for my evening meal including the chips.

    We loved the relaxed peacefully break away. The views of canal and location perfect for husband and I. Very friendly helpfully staff. Rooms great size with everything you need.
    Mattress a little soft for us but that is personal preference, we prefer firmer. Would not stop our return to stay again .

    Excellent service, lovely location
    Despite being delayed 3 hours on the M6 they rang and said they'd keep the kitchen open for me. When I arrived and sat down for the evening meal, they were friendly, didn't rush me even though it was the end of their day I was served excellent food. Breakfast was great, room was lovely and warm.
    The weather ! Couldn't appreciate the view in the morning but driving and and gale force winds were probably out of their control !

    Enjoyable and chilled out from start to finish.
    Myself and my husband have stayed several times and keep going back because of many reasons. Location is quiet with the canal running alongside it. Hotel is fantastic - staff, rooms, food and cleanliness.
