Ok...not many choices in OK city as rough area for crime...will never go to this city again...

Beautiful Hidden Local Treasure
The Monastery is beautifully landscaped, so serene & steeped in history. Rooms are immaculate. The pool is available 24/7, has color changing lights & is heated. Matthew & his staff are amazing! Breakfast is delicious. What a treasure this place is!

The entire ambiance of the place was electric. The room was super comfortable. The story behind the building is even amazing! The pool was amazing. We went in about 10 pm, because it's summer in Oklahoma. We were even lucky enough to witness the supermoon!! The food was wonderful. The view of the lake was even amazing!
There wasn't anything that I didn't like.

A welcome breathing space in a long road trip.
Breakfasts were wonderful. The great room was a lovely place to hang out at the end of the day. Comfortable sofas and chairs and an ottoman to put your feet up after a long day of touristy things. Our room was comfortable with eclectic decor.. The bathroom was well stocked. The room had a lake view.

For our bad backs, the mattress was too soft. I know that some people love soft mattresses, so it just didnt fit us.
