    I loved the train track view, it wasn't loud enough to disturb me. Received a welcome drink shortly after arrival. Check-in process was fast and smooth. Staff was friendly and occasionally asks if we needed help with anything, which was very nice of them.
    The wifi was super slow and personally I didn't love the breakfast buffet, but that's most likely because I'm not used to Sri Lankan food.

    AC was not working when the time of check-in checked out. Nothing was done after complaining even. Simply irresponsible as in hospitality trade.
    Very bad smell came from the room when we got in, and the washroom was just unbearably smelly. Things could have been improved as this hotel is in the heart of Colombo. Breakfast was the only good thing about the whole stay, and even the lady who served wanted a good rating.

The location alone makes up for the shortcomings in service and welcome.
    From the moment I arrived, the welcome wasn't as warm as I would have hoped. However, the girl at the reception counter was notably helpful, providing information and assistance with a pleasant attitude. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the rest of the staff throughout my stay. Their demeanor was lacking in friendliness and helpfulness, leaving a bit to be desired in terms of overall customer service. However, the same cannot be said for the breakfast experience. The selection was below par and did not meet the expected standards. Limited options left me wanting more variety and quality. If breakfast is a crucial part of your stay, it might be worth considering alternatives. In conclusion, if you're on a tight budget and prioritize a convenient location with a mesmerizing sea view, this hotel might be just what you're looking for. Manage your expectations regarding service and breakfast, and you'll likely enjoy a satisfactory stay with a memorable view.     Location is good. Nothing else is worth.
    Bathroom door can't be opened. Staff didn't even bother to fix that. They were so careless. The lady in the reception didn't even listen to us. No toilet tissue provided. We had to wait for 25 minutes to get toilet tissue. Not welcoming at all. Not worth the money.

    The team was good and courteous especially the front desk staff Stephen and the lady at restaurant Ms Dalsi was very friendly and helpful and was pleasant to be around for early morning before starting your hectic day.overall a pleasant experience and would come back soon to enjoy their hospitality .

    Room was clean, staff were accommodating. Wine stores next door!
    - on the booking it states 10/15% off food and beverages - however this is only via a voucher which we weren't given at reception, and only redeemable once, so its not technically 10-15% off if you were to go again to buy something. - we were told there would be music until late in the rooftop bar, but when we got there they were closing early! - A/C in the room kept turning off so had to keep turning it back on every 30mins - 1 hour. - The room isn't as luxurious as what's shown in the pictures however the room was clean and tidy and good value for money. - not a great range of channels on the TV - The hotel also shows a pool - there is no pool!
