    The Pig is an excellent hotel. This is the second time I have stayed at The Pig in the Wall in Southampton. I hope to try some of their other hotels around the country. Two things I would change are: a later checkout. 11am is far too early when you cannot check in until 4pm. And onsite parking should be at no cost. Charging feels mean.

    A fabulous boutique hotel right in the centre of town and by the water. Staff very friendly and bent over backwards for

    Quirky, cosy, comfortable, friendly, great shower, lovely toiletries, very good mini bar, fresh milk in the fridge, comfortable bed. We would definitely stay again.

    Only downside would be the "Superior" room type would have been standard in any other hotel
    Home from home feel, very attentive staff.
    Felt room descriptions where slightly misleading, they list three room types on the website, which don't sync with booking.com, expected more from a "Superior" room. Would have said the room was pretty cozy.

    Did not like this hotel at all, we managed to get a room a few hundred yards away which was a beautiful hotel
    Not a lot to like unfortunately
    They gave us a room in the loft with a staircase that was absolutely dangerous, unbelievably steep and very narrow treads, also very claustrophobic as low ceilings. We are both pensioners and they did said they upgrades us for the night in a better room but sorry to say i have never had a bath and 2 sinks in the actual bedroom, also the shower was through another door down a corridor on the left and the toilet was on the left, which meant you had to walk through the corridor to open the door into the bedroom to get to sink to wash your hands. I cannot see how this can be right

    The room was absolutely beautiful. The staff was beyond helpful and friendly. The bar and breakfast service was terrific and fun!
