Fantastic NYE night away - 10/10 - we will return
The attention to detail on luxury did not go unnoticed. The lighting, the decor, the furnishings..etc were very cosy and tasteful.
Lovely bath, large shower, comfy beds, big TV and fully kitted out kitchen. When I say kitted out, I mean it had things you would never expect to be there!
The lanterns, lamps and heating left on for our arrival was such a warm welcome.
The Plough and the Yew Tree cafe both very nice establishments with friendly staff. We will definitely return and have already recommended it to our friends and family.
Thank you for such a great stay. We might not have made it to midnight with 2 young girls, but we saw in the new year in style at Yew Tree apartment and had a great breakfast in the cafe before heading for a day at the coast. Great start to the year :)

Stunning Bed and Breakfast with friendly staff!
The Plough is one of the nicest places weve stayed at and we are well traveled so this means a LOT. Its clean, spacious and well maintained. The staff at the pub below work very hard and it shows. They are incredibly friendly and helpful. We were able to drop our luggage off before check in time (our room was ready a good hour or so prior to check in and we were able to go into the room) The room had plenty of towels, the claw foot bathtub was amazing. There were plenty of drinks in the fridge and tea and coffee available if needed. The bed was super comfy and the room very quiet.
We are dinner at the pub which was delicious. I had the fish pie and my husband had the duck. Both were exceptional. We also ate a full English breakfast prior to check out which again, was delicious.
We have a couple of days left in this region and will definitely book another room on our way back on this trip.
I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone. HIGHLY.

We enjoyed our stay, the young bar/ dining room staff were lovely and the bar was a cosy spot to sit in before dinne
Location very good, room very clean , nicely furnished with good facilities, comfortable bed, peaceful.
Heating broke on first night so were chilly and the next morning we had no hot water. We had our showers after breakfast as we werent in a hurry but could have been a problem if we had been leaving early. Apologies were given but a gesture of a glass of wine at dinner or an apology at check out would have been really appreciated.
