    comfortable stylish hotel in a pretty setting
    comfortable well priced rooms in a Lovely location. lots of parking. we often stay to break up a journey from north to south and get to explore the Peak District en route!

    Plenty of choice for me, my wife would have preferred a fryed or boiled eggs.
    Entrance to the cottages at the back needs attention, a little musty smelling when entering the pre room area.

    Location great, heating needs looking into
    Location works for us visiting family, and liked having a room on the ground floor as no lift.
    Room 26 Cold room, hallway was so much warmer than our room. First heater reception got us blew cold air only, next one didn't work, third one (oil filled rad) was great, wash basin drains water out all the time, Kettle kept cutting out, and Saturday evening meal was VERY basic (3 sprouts, one carrot! etc) and took a long time coming.

    Had a great stay with good food and service the hotel has a wonderful atmosphere and would recommend
    The breakfast was excellent and the service was excellent we were very impressed with the quality of the service and food. The restaurant was very clean and had a great atmosphere.
    Some drawers in the room to store our clothes only had hanging space in a wardrobe with no shelves

    Our two days stay were very good. The staff were brilliant including pre arrival contact. Hannah was a standout! We will be back!
