    The position on the riverside short walk to Kendal town centre. Ideal place to visit family
    Dinners ok but a bit restricted, a more varied menu would be nice. Breakfasts good. Rooms too warm in spite of turning down heating and Opening window

    the most beautiful stay in the Lake District
    I loved the location of The Riverside,the fantastic view of the river Kent from our room was beautiful to wake up to.
    At breakfast I often found the tableware dirty. Plates, mugs and bowls werent properly clean.

    New Years Eve and no entertainment of any kind. We were told by reception that we should have had an email off the manager saying entertainment was cancelled but we received nothing. Will not be returning

    Terrible breakfast. Rusty equipment in the gym.
    Needs a refresh. Rooms didnt smell great. No fresh fruit at breakfast. Sauna and steam were okay but gym was on its last legs.
