    The Seacliffe in Whitby is described as a nice and tidy hotel with very friendly staff. The rooms are comfortable, the breakfast is cooked well, and parking is available with a free permit. It is a s (Read More)teady 15-minute walk to the town center, with both steps and road options. The staff are helpful and accommodating, with a nice outdoor area and bar. Overall, a fantastic location with good value for a stay in Whitby.

    Nice location comfy room.
    Location is good, breakfast was nice. My only gripe was it was too warm. Sounds daft,maybe it was just us. Other than that it was a good place to stay,be really good to have a sea view but that's down to luck.

    Good location 20 minute walk into centre. Had 3rd floor twin attic room with great sea view with a pair of binoculars provided. Room 20 was clean and comfy had to turn the radiator off as far too warm despite cold and windy November weather. Velux roof windows easy to open. Cooked breakfast was very tasty nice and hot. Sockets right next to bed one had x 2 USB charging ports. Room had a bath with shower attachment plenty of hot water and hand wash. All staff helpful and friendly.
    Quite a few flights of stairs to climb to attic not suitable for anyone with mobility problems but didn't affect our stay. Couldn't fault anything about the place.

    Everything you need as a base for wgw.
    Overall everything was good
    As it was wgw we would have preferred to be closer to the centre as walking in the rain wearing outfits wasn't great, this is of course my fault for not checking beforehand.
