    All staff very friendly, helpful, excellent service, breakfast and evening meals very good, room comfortable warm and clean, hotel great location for walking the fells. Will definitely be returning for future stays.

    The room was lovely and clean. The location was amazing.
    The bed/mattress was too soft and was uneven on 1 side. Breakfast was undercooked, Tomato raw, Egg white still runny and bacon barely cooked.

    Warm hotel with comfort and character. And a warm welcome too
    Lovely warm hotel. Furnishings were luxurious and comfortable. Nice fabrics and lovely log fire in reception. The location is ideal in Grasmere. Staff are very attentive and help make your stay seem special
    There was a winter break deal with the company so missed out on the deal via booking.com. The hotel did give us a complimentary upgrade to a luxury king size with a view. However some guests had an evening meal included in their deal.

    Pre christmas break.
    Love this hotel. Fab location , plenty of walks from the hotel. Staff are always welcoming. Food amazing plenty of choice for breakfast & evening meal. It's just a lovely atmosphere. Bonus was a room upgrade on arrival. Has a pool, which after a long walk is perfect.
